The Wineries
These wines are made by small exclusive producers throughout the world. That is why, when you travel, you bring a few bottles of the finest wines back home in your suitcase for your personal enjoyment.
The large importer and distributor must hurdle the same permitting, licensing, shipping, importation, label approval and required governmental “red tape”, for each precious wine, of a small family winery, as they do for each bulk corporate wine acquisition. Therefore, it is only economically feasible for the importers and distributors, who control the vast market, to offer common known brands of mass produced wine, under thousands of labels, to America
